Description
The TORISHIMA MSH series are high pressure, large capacity pumps mainly applied for RO desalination and
water transmission plants. The impellers are positioned in back-to-back arrangement in order to reduce axial thrust.
The impeller & volute casing are designed to obtain optimum efficiency.
The MSH-T has twin-suction branches to provide optimum suction performance. Liquid flows into double-suction 2nd stage impeller through two single-suction impellers that are positioned in back to back. The compact back-to-back arrangement balances axial hydraulic thrust and provides optimum efficiency for high flow operation.
The axially split design of MSH series gives easy maintenance of rotating equipment without removing the lower casing.
The pumps have a wide range of materials from carbon steel to stainless steel (austenitic, duplex stainless steel) depending on handling liquid and site condition.

Description

The TORISHIMA MMK and MML are horizontal, radially split ring section pumps, single flow.
The casings are sealed by flat gasket and held together by the bolts. The stage casing and the tie bolts are encased in a steel cladding.
The pump feet are arranged either below the pump or at centre line accordig to the enumber of stages and the temperature.

The axial thrust force of the MMK type is 
balanced by the impeller balancing hole and 
that of the MML type by the balancing disk, 
so that the pumps can be driven with 
complete safety at high speed. Axial suction 
execution with special first stage impeller can 
be adopted in case of severe suction 
condition.

POMPA CENTRIFUGAL SELF PRIMING MULTI STAGE PUMP GAE SERO TORISHIMA

GAE SERO  

   

1.1 Uraian  

Pompa SERO jenis SON / SOB dan SRN/SRB adalah pompa centrifugal self-priming bertingkat banyak.  

Digunakan hanya untuk cairan bersih tanpa adanya kotoran. Untuk setiap keadaan harus dicegah masuknya benda-benda  

asing ke dalam pompa seperti kotoran atau butiran keras. Cairan harus selalu mengalir dalam pompa. Pompa tidak boleh  

di biarkan bekerja tanpa adanya air.  

   

Garansi  

Pompa di garansi terhadap kerusakan akibat material,disain, dan pengerjaan, tetapi tidak terhadap kerusakan akibat  

penggunaan atau pengoperasian yang tidak tepat atau tidak mengikuti petunjuk operasi dari pompa.  

   

2.2 INSTALASI POMPA  

   

Kelurusan Pompa  

Pompa dan motor harus dipasang sedemikian rupa pada pelat dasar dimana kelurusan kedua belahan kopling terjamin.  

Untuk mengatur ketinggian pelat dasar pakailah pelat baja, kemudian tuangkanlah adukan semen. Untuk menghindari distorsi,  

kencangkanlah baut pondasi setelah beton mengeras. Kemudian dengan pelurus periksalah kembali kelurusan kedua belahan kopling.  

   

Temperature dan Kwalitas dari cairan  

Temperature tertinggi yang di ijinkan dari cairan adalah 110c untuk pompa dengan stuffing box dan 140c untuk pompa dengan sil mekanis  

catatan : Jika temperature melebihi 90c periksalah tinggi muka air pada sisi isap! Perhatikan bagian mengenai kwalitas dari air  

   

Tinggi Isap Muka Air  

Tinggi isap vertical maxsimum ditambah rugi-rugi akibat gesekan adalah 8,5 meter untuk air dingin. Jika temperature lebih tinggi, mendekati  

titik didih dengan vacum yang tinggi, atau dengan berat jenis yang lebih tinggi,tinggi isap maximum dan tinggi muka air pada sisi  isap masing-masing  

dihitung dengan memperhatikan data-data dari pompa. Setidak-tidaknya lengkapilah pada sisi isap saringan ( penangkap kotoran )  

   

Jika yang di pompa adalah air pengumpan ketel, maka air ini harus mengalir menuju pompa. Tinggi muka air pada sisi isap bergantung pada  

titik kerja dari pompa dan temperature dari air.  

rugi-rugi pada sisi isap harus ditambahkan pada muka air pada sisi isap. Akan lebih baik jika pipa isap dari tangki air pengumpan ketel  

ke flen isap pompa pada posisi vertical. Jika pompa horizontal diperlukan khususnya tepat pada sisi keluar dari tangki air pengumpan ketel  

usahakanlah agar pipa horizontal ini sependek mungkin.  

   

Penyambungan Pipa  

Suction dan Discharge casing diberi tanda dengan anak panah atau pelat nama, hubun gkanlah pipa dengan bebas dari torsi. Perhatikan apakah   

baut-baut segi delapan tidak terlalu panjang sebab jika terlalu panjang akan mengakibatkan pecahnya flen. Berat pipa tidak boleh membebani pompa.  

Untuk cairan yang panas.( diatas 60c)  dan cairan yang dingin ( di bawah 20C )  gunakanlah sistim pemipaan yang dapat memuai dan menyusut. Pipa isap  

dapat diletakkan dengan segala cara yang diinginkan. Pipa isap ini dapat di letakkan lebih tinggi dari pompa karena pompa juga dapat mengisapnya.  

Diameter pipa hisap tidak boleh lebih kecil dari diameter isap pompa. Pipa isap harus berada sedalam mungkin dibawah muka cairan, jarak minimum dari  

dasar tangki 15cm.  

juga pipa tekan dapat diletakkan dengan berbagai cara. Jika head dinamis tinngi atau cairan di pompa ke dalam tangki bertekanan, dianjurkan untuk  

memasang sebuah check valve pada pipa tekan. Hindari belokan -belokan yang tajam pada pipa isap dan tekan.  

Pipa dengan diameter yang kecil dan sangat panjang akan menambah total head dinamis yang akan mengakibatkan motor kelebihan beban.hendaknya  

semua pipa termasuk pipa isap harus bersih dari kotoran dan partikel-partikel keras (tahi las). Periksalah apakah sambungan sudah kencang.
