NETZSCH Barrel Emptying Units actually pump their way through your products reaching the bottom of the barrel with less than 1% left in the container. The heart of the barrel emptying unit is a NEMO® progressing cavity pump which creates positive displacement, low pulsation flow to convey your product without damage. In fact, most products are only exposed to the friction loss through the discharge piping. The NETZSCH single slide rail system raises and lowers the follower plate safely while providing a simple and easy structure to clean.

The special design of the M-Ovas® housing carries the solids in the wastewater flow to the cutting plate, where they are held and chopped by rotating blades. NEMO® Progressing cavity pumps
1. Rotor

In wear and corrosion resistant design, including the wear-free ceramic rotor, NEMO CERATEC® Ceramic Rotors.

2. Stator

We manufacture stators to the latest standards. Stators minimise the tolerance range thereby optimising the performance of the pump. Our unique,fully networked production and process data monitoring system, developed in-house, is backed up by consistent quality testing.

We offer you 2 types of stators:

2.1 Stator with conventional technology

Vulcanised into a tube, with integrated seals on both ends in a variety of NEMOLAST® elastomers, plastics or metals. Stator inlet with chamfer to facilitate the entry of the fluid into the conveying chamber.

2.2.

The stator consists of a disposable elastomer part and an aluminium outer sleeve in which the NEMOLAST® elastomer is housed. The advantages of this new technology are the reduced starting torque, the higher degree of efficiency, longer lifetime, simple and quick change as well as the easy disposal.

3. Drive chain

Plug in shaft with coupling rod and two universal joints for power transmission from the drive to the rotor.

The joints are available in various versions, some of them patented by NETZSCH.
