Jockey Pump

Jockey pump merupakan bagian dari instalasi fire hydrant maupun fire sprinkler yang berkerja bersama pompa hydrant elektrik dan pompa hydrant diesel sebagai pengatur tekanan air dari tandon reservoir ke jaringan pipa. Fungsi Jockey pump adalah untuk menjaga tekanan air didalam instalasi sistem fire hydrant maupun sistem sprinkler tetap stabil, sehingga apabila terjadi sedikit kebocoran pada pompa, valve dan perlengkapan lainnya dalam instalasi, maka jockey pump akan mengembalikan pada tekanan yang telah di tetapkan / di tentukan. Dengan adanya jockey pump pada sistem fire hydrant untuk menghindari komponen instalasi tidak cepat rusak biasanya yang dapat merusak komponen rusak karena tekanan air yang tinggi, saat pompa utama mengalirkan air bertekanan tinggi. Untuk mengatur tekanan sehingga pompa utama tidak menyala sepanjang waktu.

Untuk spesifikasi jockey pump agar berjalan dengan baik harus memenuhi pesyaratan yang telah di tetapkan. Mechanical Booster Pumps (Model EH 250IND - 500IND)

The  mechanical booster pumps feature a unique hydrokinetic drive which provides efficient power transmission with benefits in economy, performance and compactness. These booster pumps are suitable for use with high differential pressures which allow the booster pump to be started at the same time as the backing pump, reducing total pump down times.
The mechanical booster pump, based on the simple Roots principle, remains the favourite pump for applications where high pumping speeds are required for pressures in the region of 0.01 to 10 mbar. This pump must always be backed by another pump, which can deliver against a high-pressure differential to atmospheric pressure.
Operating at relatively low pressures, the mechanical booster pump is not exposed to the same concentrations of corrosive process media as is the backing pump, which makes it highly reliable.
